Chrome-Soma Laptop Messenger Bag Review

If you are like me you've probably tried every type of laptop bag out there. I've owned them all, the single strap styles that claim to be "messenger" bags, and the backpack style for the college student. For me I never felt comfort, and they either had too much space, or too little. Well I have finally found the perfect laptop messenger bag. The Chrome "Soma". The Soma is a single strap laptop messenger bag, designed much like other Chrome bags it's super durable, roomy yet snug, and very comfortable any way you wear it. Made from weather proof material for worry free outdoor use. I use the single strap over my right shoulder if I know I am going to be taking it off soon, and over the left shoulder and across my chest when riding my bike or walking a long time. Both ways feel great, so if you are using this bag for school and want to carry it the way you would a single strap backpack it works well. Or if you are cycling to school or work you obviously wear it across the chest and over the left shoulder. The bag also has one more stabilizing strap for commuters that comes up from the bottom area of the bag and clips to the strap.

With a laptop, magazines, computer charger, external drive, small three ring binder, pens and a few over items the Soma holds up very well and doesn't feel at all heavy when carried on my shoulders. The strap keeps the bag stable and spreads out the weight evenly.

Internally the bag is very well padded and protects my 13 inch laptop very well. Chrome measures the bag at 13” wide, 16” high, 6” deep, and claims that it will fit laptops up to 11" x 15". My 13" laptop fits perfect with a little extra room, but never moves around at all.

After using the Soma now for a few month I can tell you that its the last laptop bag I'll buy. I've used it on my bike, walking through the airport and on long walks and couldn't be happier. This is an awesome buy, do not hesitate.
